This is a separate program available from easynotespro.com. It features a customizable toolbar that lets you assemble your procedure notes without any typing. It can prompt you for data during an exam to help you enter consistent and thorough notes. Here's how to install it for use with Pract-Eze Dental version 3.8.4 or later:
Step 1: Purchase and install Easy Notes Pro. Or use their download version which is good for 45 days.
Step 2: Activate the Easy Notes Pro program link
in the Program
Links section.
Path is typically C:\Program
Files\EasyNotesPro\AppBarProcess.exe
Command line arguments are typically
similar to this:
"C:\Program Files\EasyNotesPro\DefaultDentalToolbar.etb"

The first parameter is the name of the toolbar to open, which
can be at a different path than shown above. The second parameter, standalone,
indicates that the toolbar will be free floating. The third parameter is true if
you want the toolbar to be editable, false if not.
Step 3: To use the new link, open up any
procedure, and you should see 3 buttons above your notes box that says Easy
Notes Pro:
Launch: If ENP is not running, then click this
button. Make sure to also click the Show button. You will not have to click
launch again as long as you leave ENP running.
Show: Brings
the toobar to the foreground and prepares it for use.
Paste: After each ENP note is created, click this button to
paste into your procedure note. If you use multiple ENP notes in sequence, then
click this button after creating each one.
With some more programming, we can automate the first two buttons so that you will see only the Paste button. But the three button method is
